Not sure where to start? You're not alone. Here are the things new clients ask Rachel most often — answered plainly.
What exactly are peptides — and are they safe?▾
Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the same kind of building blocks your body already uses naturally. Many peptides occur in the human body; research versions are synthetic analogs studied in laboratory settings. They're not steroids, not stimulants, and not hormones (though some can signal hormone release). Because they're structurally similar to things the body already makes, they tend to be well-tolerated in research settings. That said, these are research peptides — they are not FDA-approved for human use. Always do your own research and consult a healthcare provider before beginning any protocol.
How do I know what dose to start with?▾
Starting doses vary by peptide and by the individual. As a general principle,
starting low and going slow is always the right approach — your body needs time to adjust, and smaller doses let you see how you respond before increasing. We recommend doing your own research and consulting with your doctor or a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any peptide protocol. There's a lot of good publicly available information on research dosing, and your provider is the right person to advise you on what's appropriate for your situation.
Rachel can answer general product questions, but dosing decisions should be made with your own healthcare provider.
How do I mix (reconstitute) a peptide?▾
Most peptides come as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder and need to be mixed with bacteriostatic water (BAC water) before use. The general process is: draw BAC water into a syringe, inject it slowly into the vial along the side (not directly onto the powder), then gently swirl — don't shake. Rachel carries BAC water — just add it to your order if you don't have any. Specific volumes vary by peptide, so look up the reconstitution guidelines for whatever you're ordering.
BAC water is $10 and available with every order. Don't forget to add it to your first order.
How are peptides administered?▾
Most research peptides are administered via subcutaneous injection — meaning a small insulin needle inserted just under the skin, typically in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. The needles are tiny (similar to what diabetics use for insulin) and most people find them far less intimidating than they expected. Always research the administration method for the specific peptide you're using.
How should I store my peptides?▾
Before mixing (dry powder): Store in the freezer. Lyophilized peptides are stable for a long time when kept cold and away from light.
After mixing (reconstituted): Move to the refrigerator. Most reconstituted peptides are stable for 4–6 weeks when refrigerated and kept out of direct light. A few things to avoid: heat, sunlight, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Keep them in their original vials with the cap on until you're ready to draw your dose.
What payment methods do you accept?▾
Zelle, credit/debit card, and cash. Please note that prices listed do not include sales tax.
Do you ship, or is this pick-up only?▾
Both! Shipping is free on orders over $100. Pick-up is available — just ask Rachel when you place your order. There's no limit to what you can order.
Free ground shipping on orders $100+. Pick-up available anytime — just mention it when you text.
What is your return policy?▾
Due to the nature of research peptides, opened vials cannot be returned. If you believe you received an incorrect or damaged product, contact Rachel within 48 hours of receiving your order and she'll make it right.
Is there a referral program?▾
Yes! When someone you refer places their first order, you earn $40 in credit toward your next order. Credits are stackable — no limit — and never expire. Just have your referral mention your name when they text Rachel.
